What is Plywood

Plywood is an engineered wood product typically created by stacking and bonding together three or more thin wood veneer layers (often made from wood's bark, plywood, or wood chips) using adhesive. The orientation of these wood veneers is usually crossed to enhance the strength and stability of the board. Plywood is a common construction and furniture material known for its durability, stability, ease of processing, and versatility.

Characteristics of plywood include uniform density, high strength, resistance to bending, resistance to cracking, and low shrinkage and expansion rates. It is commonly used in furniture manufacturing, construction, interior decoration, flooring, wall paneling, cabinets, packaging, and various other applications. Plywood is available in various wood species, thicknesses, and sizes to accommodate different projects and needs.

With our extensive history and expertise in plywood production, we have gained a deep understanding of the requirements and challenges associated with this material. We not only provide outstanding adhesive products but also offer our customers professional technical support and solutions.

Our objective is to play a pivotal role in the success of our partners. Through excellent products and services, we aim to help factories improve production efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure that the plywood products they produce meet the high-quality industry standards. We value long-term partnerships and, through continuous innovation and collaboration, seek mutual growth and prosperity.

uf glue for multilayer board

To use uf (urea-formaldehyde) glue for a multilayer board, follow these steps:

Prepare the surface: Clean and sand the surfaces to be glued to remove any dirt, grease, or roughness. This will ensure a strong bond.

Apply glue: Apply a thin, even layer of uf glue to one side of the board.

Press the boards together: Align the boards and press them firmly together, ensuring even contact between the glued surfaces.

Clamp the boards: Use clamps or weights to hold the boards together while the glue dries. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for optimal drying time.

Allow drying time: Leave the boards undisturbed for the recommended drying time to allow the glue to cure properly.

Sand and finish: Once the glue is fully cured, you can sand any excess glue and finish the boards as desired.
